About the Process
Pre-purchase inspections and the compilation of reports commonly take an entire day and even longer for gigantic boats. Since it may need some time to launch and retrieve a vessel, negotiations with the seller or broker should be made first.
You can also attend the inspection if the surveyor agrees, and you will be given a deeper insight into the boat and its systems. In case you can’t make it, the surveyor will call you to discuss any pressing issues found in your boat.
